I have the 8mm lens branded as Bower. This thing is built like a TANK. The manual focus is not bad because for fisheye, you mostly have terrain and few moving objects, so it's fine. I'd hesitate a bit for a walkabout lens; but considering AF fisheyes from Canon are $600 and more, this is EXCELLENT value. Although I paid a bit less on eBay.

I have had the 85mm rokinon for almost a year now and it takes amazing shots when the focus is nailed down! However, it's really hard to get the right focus especially when shooting at 1.4 due to the super shallow depth of focus. The build quality is superb!

Wow, isn't 85mm a little bit too much zoom? I even tend to find my 50mm a little bit too zoomy... what do you shoot with it?_______________
