Girls track and field: Irvine relay wins at California State Indoor Invitational

The Irvine girls? 4x145m relay team placed first at the California State Indoor Invitational Monday at the Save Mart Center in Fresno.
The team of junior Rai Ahmed-Green, and freshman Amanda Van Buren, and Kyla and Kayla Richardson clocked a winning time of 1:15.86.
The Woodbridge relay team of senior Kelly Hwang, and juniors Hannah Heising, Maia Craver, and Brina Jablonsky finished third in a time of 1:17.58.
Warriors junior Janice Lane was second in the 800 with a time of 2:22.53.
Fountain Valley?s ?B? team was second in the 4?800 relay. The team of seniors Aini Morales and Stephanie Fedele, along with juniors Amber Bragdon and Amanda Stark clocked a time of 10:06.17.
The Redondo relay team set a new meet record with a winning time of 9:45.69.
Woodbridge (10:26.68) and Fountain Valley ?C? 10:46.18 were fourth and seventh respectively.
El Toro junior Michelle DeDmon was tied for second in the high jump with a clearance of 5-3. Dana Hills senior Brenna Barker cleared 5-0 and finished tied for sixth place.
Barker (16-11?) was also seventh in the long jump.
Fountain Valley junior Amber Bragdon was fourth in the two mile race in a time of 11:45.77.
Dana Hills junior Michaela King (8.48) was sixth in the 55 meter hurdles. Woodbridge senior Kyndol Craver (8.62) and Edison senior Michaela Schaeffer (8.92) finished ninth and 10th.
Tesoro freshman Amanda Gehrich (5:26.93) was ninth in one mile race.
