??Webmasters - Site Owners: Search Engine Metro5 Unveils Top Search Trends Feed Via Twitter
Today, search engine Metro5 has unveiled its top search keyword feed on Twitter. Search keywords that have been searched on Metro5 are posted every three minutes to the Twitter account @Metro5Today."We have decided to publish our top searches on Twitter, so people can stay updated on what Metro5 users are searching. The posts made on Twitter are the top searches for the current day." Jan De Mol, Metro5's head developer said.
Finding out what people are searching always has been an interesting indicator for SEO's and webmasters in general. Many search engines publish some of the most searched keywords online.
However, Metro5 goes a step further and publishes more than just the top 10 or top 50 words. The search engine publishes up to 480 top searches per day, which is more than most search engines publish.
It's especially informative to see what people are searching for during special seasons, such as shortly before events like Halloween, Christmas and the new year.
"Sometimes you can be reminded of ideas you had in the past, or even remember to buy a gift for someone close to you by finding out that people are searching for the exact same thing that you are after." Jan De Mol, Metro5's head developer added.
Metro5 publishes the daily "Top 5 Searches" directly within their search engine. The advanced feed with up to 480 search terms per day is posted to Twitter at https://twitter.com/Metro5Today
