Mark, Sanusi, Nda-Isaiah To Speak On Financial Crimes

The event will hold between Monday November 26 and Tuesday November 27, 2012 at Oriental Hotel, Lekki, Lagos.
Senate President, Sen. David Mark, is expected to declare the workshop open, while the royal father of the day is the Paramount ruler of Lagos, Oba Rilwanu Akiolu.
Guest speakers at the workshop include Prof. Wole Soyinka, who will deliver lecture on the theme: ?The society, corruption and punishment, while Minister for Finance, Dr Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala will speak on ?Legalised Regulations.?
Others speakers are Governor, Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Mallam Lamido Sanusi, who is to speak on the theme: ?Fighting Corruption-National Initiatives & Perspectives? and Chairman, LEADERSHIP newspaper, Mr. Sam Nda-Isaiah is expected to speak on ?Managing Organisational Risk and Security, Fraud Awareness and Prevention?.
Participants expected at the event, according to the Commissioner of Police (CP) in-charge of the unit, Ayotunde Ogunsakin include anti-graft agencies (EFCC, ICPC, Code of Conduct Bureau), financial institutions, officers and men of the Nigeria Police Force and others.
According to the CP, the workshop is designed not only to develop officers and men in investigation and prosecution and expose them to the quality of investigation but also to prepare them for the cashless economy.
